Samus has strong anti-air answers with Fair, Nair, and Up B, yet her grounded movement is still limited, so jump arcs that pass over the front wall and land above or behind her are what start Diddy’s advantage. Your kills are more reliable from Banana confirms, Up Smash punishes, and ledge traps with Bair or Down Tilt than from forcing reckless center-stage openings. Do not turn every projectile bypass into an automatic Monkey Flip or shielded aerial; removing Up B punishes first and touching Samus again is the real win condition.

Win Condition Checklist
- Use Banana to cover the spot where Samus charges or retreats instead of only placing it and waiting
- After clearing a Missile, drift above or behind Samus so Fair, Grab, and rising anti-airs do not all cover the same lane
- Punish close-range Fair, Down Tilt, Dash Attack, and nearby Missile pressure with Up Smash or Uair so Samus cannot swing for free
- Once Samus is airborne, keep tracking Bomb stalls and air dodges, then stack Bair, Down Tilt, and fresh Banana traps at the ledge
Actions to Avoid
- Forcing Monkey Flip from too far away just because Charge Shot is charged and running into a prepared Fair or Up B
- Repeatedly landing Nair or Bair on shield at point-blank range and giving Samus the same Up B punish every time
