  • Isabelle should avoid standing still for a ground slugfest, place Lloid Trap one step ahead, and make Fair, Bair, and Fishing Rod cover Little Mac’s dash route before he arrives.
  • After blocking jab strings, tilts, down tilt, dash attack, smash attacks, aerials, Neutral B, or Side B, Isabelle should take the guaranteed punish with OOS Nair (8f), OOS Uair (9f), Up Smash (9f), or Grab (10f).
  • When Little Mac has KO meter, Isabelle should not turtle in shield and should instead use retreat movement, jumps, and platform or ledge spacing to reduce the chances that the move gets fired at all.
  • Once Little Mac is offstage, Isabelle should prioritize ledge hold over a deep chase and cover Super Jump Punch plus Jolt Haymaker recovery with Fishing Rod, Lloid Trap, and Fair.

Actions to Avoid

  • Getting greedy with Lloid Trap placement or Fishing Rod directly in front of Little Mac and eating down tilt, dash attack, or Forward Smash on reaction.
