Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Rosalina & Luma can make the direct lane very hard for Puff with the two-body wall, then layer forward air, back air, up air, Neutral B, and Side B on top of that space control. If Jigglypuff keeps challenging both bodies at the same height, her light weight quickly turns one loss into a long juggle or ledge sequence.
But Puff’s multiple jumps and air drift let her circle around Luma much better than most characters, and Rosalina alone is far easier to chase once Luma is gone. In this matchup, trying to force the stock immediately is less stable than first knocking Luma out of the formation, then spending that solo Rosalina window on repeated air tracking and ledge pressure.
The frame table shows clear shield punishes on jab 1-3, Rapid Jab Finisher, every tilt, dash attack, every smash attack, forward air (1), Neutral B, and Side B with OOS Nair (9f), Grab (10f), OOS Dair (10f), and OOS Fair (11f) as the main answers. By contrast, neutral air, back air, up air, and down air are mostly poor immediate punish spots, so forcing shield punishes there usually just lets Rosalina and Luma reset their spacing.
The win condition is to take the real grounded and Side B punish windows, maximize the time where Luma is absent, and then keep Rosalina from landing or resetting at ledge. The repeatable kills come from back air, long edgeguard extensions, and edge down smash after the pair has already been split apart.

Win Condition Checklist
- Do not enter straight into the two-body wall at the same height. Circle above or around the line first and look to force Luma out before hard-committing on Rosalina.
- After blocking jab 1-3, Rapid Jab Finisher, every tilt, dash attack, any smash attack, forward air (1), Neutral B, or Side B, punish every time with the reachable option among OOS Nair (9f), Grab (10f), OOS Dair (10f), OOS Fair (11f), OOS Uair (12f), or OOS Bair (13f).
- After blocking neutral air, back air, up air, or down air, do not rush a shield punish. Track the landing, re-jump, or Luma reset instead and take the second touch that pushes them backward.
- Whenever Luma is gone, do not give Rosalina room to breathe. Prioritize landing traps and ledge pressure so the resummon window stays under stress.
- Look for kills from back air, long edgeguard routes, and ledge down smash after the pair has been split. Do not tunnel on a raw center-stage Rest.
Actions to Avoid
- Seeing only Rosalina and diving straight through the front, getting clipped by forward air, up air, Side B, or the extra Luma hitbox at the same time.
- Treating every blocked neutral air, back air, up air, or down air like a guaranteed punish and whiffing while Rosalina and Luma rebuild their spacing.
- Overchasing offstage the moment Luma is gone and giving Rosalina enough time to both escape and resummon.
- Letting Side B and the grounded pokes go unpunished even though they are the cleaner, repeatable places for Puff to take the turn back.
- Forcing Rest or oversized center-stage reads just because Rosalina is light and then losing neutral first because Puff was the one who overcommitted.
