Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
The matchup is decided by whether Little Mac can get in before Peach’s low float and turnips erase the grounded brawl entirely.
Peach dominates the air and wins hard off sustained advantage, but her ground movement is not fast, and when the float height is read correctly Mac can still drag the game back to the floor with Up Smash, Up B, and grounded bursts.
As the table shows, jab, tilts, dash attack, smash attacks, fair, bair, uair, dair, and Side B all give Little Mac real answers through Up B (3f) or OOS Nair (5f), while nair is mostly safe and down tilt is only -8, so mashing after every shield block is far less reliable than calling the next landing.
The win condition is to turn each short grounded opening into down tilt, dash attack, or Forward Smash carry, then use KO-pressure to pin shield and catch high float or Parasol recovery with fast Up B and Up Smash instead of chasing long aerial scrambles.

Win Condition Checklist
- Little Mac should not stop under turnips; use walk-shield and burst dashes to read float height first, then cut off the landing with down tilt, dash attack, or Up Smash.
- After blocking jab, tilts, dash attack, smash attacks, fair, bair, uair, dair, or Side B, Little Mac should take the guaranteed punish with Up B (3f) or OOS Nair (5f).
- After blocking Peach’s nair, Little Mac should avoid forcing an immediate punish and instead place down tilt, Forward Tilt, or Up Smash at the next float landing or retreat point.
- Once Peach is in KO range, Little Mac should use shield pressure and walk-down positioning to pin defensive choices, then catch the higher float and Parasol return with Up B and Up Smash near the ledge.
Actions to Avoid
- Chasing Peach straight through float height and repeatedly giving her nair, fair, and grab starters.
- Getting frustrated by turnips and throwing raw Forward Smash or other large swings where float drift can whiff-punish them.
- Swinging immediately after every blocked nair and handing Peach the next landing aerial for free.
- Chasing too far offstage and turning the game into an aerial recovery exchange where Little Mac exposes his own worst weakness first.
