Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Daisy’s low float pressure is the center of the matchup, but Mii Swordfighter still has room to play because sword range and selected specials can force Daisy to commit to a drift path instead of hovering freely in front of shield. Check the loadout early. If you have stronger horizontal projectiles, use them to interrupt float drift from the side; if not, lean more on retreating bair, anti-air uair, and sword tip spacing so Daisy has to keep re-entering your range. Many float aerials stay hard to punish on shield, but Daisy’s forward tilt, up tilt, dash attack, and Peach Bomber all give real windows for Up B or up smash. Those grounded checks matter because every clean punish reduces how often Daisy gets to start float offense. For stocks, ledge control is more reliable than forcing center-stage scrambles. Stay patient around turnip, track where Daisy wants to hover or land near the ledge, and cover that space with sword hitboxes instead of swinging first at the projectile itself.

Win Condition Checklist
- Confirm the special loadout immediately and choose your spacing around projectile presence and Up B punish range
- Challenge float by aiming at Daisy’s drift endpoint with retreating sword hitboxes instead of jumping straight into her hover height
- Punish forward tilt, up tilt, dash attack, and Peach Bomber on shield with Up B or up smash whenever they touch close enough
- Build stocks from ledge control by reading Daisy’s hover and landing spots, not by overcommitting to turnip interactions in center stage
Actions to Avoid
- Jumping forward on reaction to turnip toss and running into fair or bair anti-airs
- Standing directly under float and starting a scramble where nair can carry into extended pressure
- Ignoring the special loadout and repeating one spacing pattern even when the selected kit changes how neutral should be played
