Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
King K. Rool can still cause problems with his heavy hits and projectiles, but because he is so large and easy to punish back, Peach can usually widen the damage gap through long strings.
Using vegetables and float to step outside the straight-line path of Crown and Blunderbuss, then re-launching him and continuing the landing traps, is the more stable route after making contact.
For KOs, it is usually more stable to avoid challenging belly-armor swings head-on and instead narrow his jump and airdodge escape routes at the ledge, then let forward air and back air connect.

Win Condition Checklist
- Do not advance while expecting to eat projectiles; approach safely by shifting your float angle.
- Once you launch him, prioritize ledge pressure and do not rush for a single-hit KO.
- Mix in retreating options whenever belly armor is visible, and do not let the key punish slip by.
Actions to Avoid
- Driving straight into belly armor and taking the counterhit.
- Suffering Crown and Blunderbuss at the same height over and over until you lose positional control.
- Overchasing offstage and exposing your own recovery.
