Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Mii Gunner wants to lock Peach onto a fixed approach path with charge shots, missiles, and anti-air coverage, then force her to spend too long trying to chase from the ground. Peach still wins the close-range pace once she gets there, because float lets her change heights in small increments and turnips can interrupt the next projectile layer before it gets re-established. The matchup is won by refusing to force the shortest airborne line, using turnips to pin the route first, then landing low-float nair, bair, or grab and rolling that into landing traps and ledge sequences before zoning restarts. If Peach keeps floating at one height through the firing lane or ignores the speed of up-B and up-smash reversals after she gets in, the whole advantage can disappear in one exchange.

Win Condition Checklist
- Use turnips to fix the route rather than just add damage, make Mii Gunner choose jump or shield first, then change your angle with float before committing
- Once you get in, do not rush the early kill from low-float nair, bair, or grab; keep denying the time needed to set up more zoning through landing traps and ledge pressure
- On shield, do not miss punish windows on jab 1, jab 2, jab 3, forward tilt, up tilt, down tilt, dash attack, every smash attack, nair, up air, and down air
- When Mii Gunner is offstage, watch the up-B landing point and squeeze both the ledge grab and landing with fair, bair, turnips, or the tip of Parasol
- At kill percent, center the finish around ledge float bair and fair, and only call for up smash when the up-B or air-dodge landing point is already fixed
Actions to Avoid
- Do not keep floating at the same height directly in front of charge shot pressure. That makes the anti-air timing too easy and erases the point of float mix.
- Do not try to force the last grounded dash-in before pulling a turnip. If projectile coverage and up-smash are still active, lane control matters more than raw burst.
- Do not extend pressure without respecting up-B reversals once you are in. If you do not account for the scramble after shield, one escape can flip the whole position.
- Do not overchase too deep offstage. Mii Gunner can shift the return point enough that sloppy edgeguards give up the landing trap you already earned.
