Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Richter can slow lateral movement with holy water and long whip spacing, but his jab follow-ups, up tilt, down tilt, dash attack, and other unsafe moves are very punishable, so once Peach gets inside, she can take the turn outright.
Rather than defaulting to ground dashes, Peach is stronger here when she varies floating height to avoid cross and axe trajectories, then layers neutral air, grab, and turnip throws the moment Richter stalls.
For kills, it is more stable to push floating back air and forward air at the ledge and restrict both up B recovery and neutral get-up than to fish for a center-stage smash read.

Win Condition Checklist
- Do not float at the same height from the start; vary your altitude based on cross return paths and axe arcs.
- After stopping jab strings, up tilt, down tilt, or dash attack, do not back off - keep Richter moving toward the ledge.
- Use turnips less as raw damage and more to block holy water placements and jump get-up lanes.
Actions to Avoid
- Showing low float too often and walking yourself into up B oos range.
- Trying to land outside holy water and eating forward-air or forward-tilt tipper space.
- Overcommitting to offstage pressure and making your own recovery worse than the ledge trap you were trying to create.
