Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Peach can vary her spacing with low float and Turnip pulls, then convert Neutral Air, Back Air, and Grab into heavy damage, so Pyra loses control quickly if she tries to swat Peach out of the air from directly underneath.
Pyra still has the better reach, lingering coverage, and ledge pressure, so the stable plan is to ignore Peach’s current hover point, place Forward Air, Up Tilt, and Up Air along the descent line, and keep pushing the landing toward the ledge from center stage.
Out of shield, Jab 1, Jab 2, Forward Tilt, Up Tilt, Dash Attack, Forward Smash, Up Smash, Down Smash, and Side B (1)(2) are all clear spots for Grab (10f), Up B (13f), OOS Nair (14f), OOS Fair (14f), and Up Smash (15f), which keeps Peach from resetting float pressure for free.
By contrast, Neutral Air, Forward Air, Back Air, Up Air, Down Air, and Down Tilt are hard to punish directly on block, so Pyra should not force a scramble there and should instead build stocks through landing traps, Blaze End ledge pressure, and tipper kill hits.

Win Condition Checklist
- Do not jump straight into Peach’s low-float height; hold center first, then place Forward Air, Up Tilt, and Up Air on the route Peach has to descend through.
- After blocking Jab 1, Jab 2, Forward Tilt, Up Tilt, Dash Attack, Forward Smash, Up Smash, Down Smash, or Side B (1)(2), answer immediately with the reachable option from Grab (10f), Up B (13f), OOS Nair (14f), OOS Fair (14f), and Up Smash (15f) so Peach cannot reset float spacing.
- When Neutral Air, Forward Air, Back Air, Up Air, Down Air, or Down Tilt touches shield, skip the forced instant punish and track the next landing or ledge drift instead.
- Save Blaze End for ledge pressure rather than close center-stage scrambles, and place it where it covers normal getup, ledge hang, and lower recovery routes together.
- Decide early whether the stock is ending with ledge Up Smash, Up B, tipper Forward Air, or Down Air, and keep the kill plan short before Peach gets repeated float mixups.
Actions to Avoid
- Jumping directly under Peach’s low float and letting Neutral Air or Back Air start the combo route for free.
- Treating blocked Neutral Air, Forward Air, Back Air, Up Air, Down Air, or Down Tilt as guaranteed punish windows and whiffing Up B or Up Smash into Peach’s landing mix.
- Throwing Blaze End carelessly at close range in center stage and giving Peach a free opening while Pyra cannot attack until the sword returns.
- Chasing too deep offstage, shortening Pyra’s own recovery route, and turning Peach’s stronger horizontal recovery into the safer exchange.
