Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Fox wants to use run speed, Blaster, Neutral Air, Dash Attack, Up Tilt, and Up Air to reach Rosalina herself, strip Luma away, and snowball long landing traps onto the lightweight body once Luma is gone. Rosalina and Luma struggle if they let him stay point-blank, but when Luma is stationed slightly in front, Fox’s direct burst lines become much narrower and Rosalina can cover both the horizontal lane and the anti-air lane with Forward Air, Back Air, and Up Air.
The frame table also shows that after shielding Jab 1, Jab 2, Forward Tilt, Up Tilt, Down Tilt, Dash Attack, every smash attack, Forward Air, Down Air, Neutral B, Side B, Up B, and Down B, Rosalina and Luma can answer with Up Smash (8f), OOS Up Air (9f), Grab (10f), and OOS Neutral Air (10f). By contrast, Neutral Air and Back Air are effectively safe, and tipper-style Up Air pressure often leaves only a thin punish window, so forcing a button every time after shield usually feeds Fox’s pullback movement and second burst.
The win condition is to let Luma or shield stop the first dash-in or Blaster-induced approach, then launch Fox with Up Air, Grab, and Neutral Air so that he burns jump and air dodge before he can reset. Fox falls quickly and gives many landing-trap repetitions, but his defense is still defined by low weight and exploitable recovery, so it is more reliable to keep center stage and chase upward two or three times than to overextend sideways.
Finishing stocks is more stable with Up Smash, Up Air, and Luma-backed ledge pressure into Forward Air than with deep offstage chases. During the periods when Luma is gone, the priority is to avoid direct brawling, avoid overcommitting into Blaster lanes, and hold center long enough to get the resummon back.

Win Condition Checklist
- Keep Luma slightly in front, stop Fox’s dash-ins and short-hop entries at the first layer, and convert into Up Smash (8f), OOS Up Air (9f), Grab (10f), and OOS Neutral Air (10f).
- After shielding Jab 1, Jab 2, Forward Tilt, Up Tilt, Down Tilt, Dash Attack, every smash attack, Forward Air, Down Air, Neutral B, Side B, Up B, and Down B, take the punish and end Fox’s close-range turn immediately.
- After shielding Neutral Air, Back Air, or a spaced Up Air, do not force a swing in place; cover the pullback route and landing with Up Air, Forward Air, and Luma coverage to punish the second touch instead.
- Once Fox is airborne, do not chase too far sideways. Hold center, get in front of his fast-fall landing, and convert the repeated anti-air cycle into a kill.
Actions to Avoid
- Swinging Forward Air or Up Smash straight through center stage when Luma is not in front, then getting clipped by Fox’s Neutral Air, Dash Attack, or Up Tilt starter.
- Challenging every blocked Neutral Air or Back Air immediately and letting Fox reset with pullback movement into another burst option.
- Chasing too deep offstage right after sending Fox outward and giving him a scramble around Side B or Up B that flips stage position.
- Panic-jumping into Blaster space as soon as Luma is gone and extending the time Rosalina has to survive alone before resummon.
