Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)
Once Isabelle starts laying down Lloid Traps, sideways movement becomes easier to read, so Corrin wants to clip the setup itself with forward air and down tilt.
If you can read Fishing Rod recovery and ledge options, the punishes are heavy, but overcommitting gives Isabelle time to reset with balloon recovery and ledge denial.
Kills are more consistent when Corrin shifts away from close-range scrapping and instead cuts off escape routes with up air after the launch and side B at the ledge.

Win Condition Checklist
- When the trap setup starts, walk into spear range instead of rushing in head-on.
- If you see the Fishing Rod coming back, avoid overextending offstage and focus on blocking ledge get-up and ledge jump first.
- After launching with forward air and up air, keep the opponent pinned in place and carry them straight into kill percent.
Actions to Avoid
- Do not panic-dash in before the trap setup is complete and eat the forward-air or Fishing Rod punish.
- Do not chase too far offstage and give Isabelle free time to buy space with balloon recovery.
- Do not rush into point-blank range when the Fishing Rod tip is already visible, because that starts the read battle in Isabelle’s favor.
