Matchup Summary (Win Condition and Game Plan)

Min Min can shut down straight ground approaches with both arms, so Corrin loses badly if the whole neutral plan is just walking or dashing into forward tilt and forward smash lanes. The flip side is that Min Min’s close-range defense and coverage directly above her are much shakier, so Corrin can take over once fair, uair, or a jump-read side B gets over the arm line and starts a landing trap. As the table shows, the jab string, rapid jab finisher, forward tilt series, up tilt, down tilt, dash attack, smash attacks, down air, and up B (2) all give Corrin meaningful shield punishes, so the matchup rewards taking guaranteed punishes instead of trying to challenge every safe poke. Stocks come more reliably from ledge corralling with tipper fair, up smash, and side B than from gambling in center stage, and the set is largely decided by whether Corrin keeps Min Min airborne after the first clean entry.

Win Condition Checklist

  • Do not chase only on the ground; use fair and uair to cross above the arm line, then catch jump or drift-back with side B
  • After shielding jab 1-3, rapid jab finisher, the forward tilt series, up tilt, down tilt, dash attack, smash attacks, down air, or up B (2), always take the punish that cleanly reaches
  • Against safer nair or max-range pokes, do not force a scramble; cover the second landing or retreat instead with uair or fair
  • Once Min Min is airborne, keep reading jump and air dodge in sequence so the juggle carries all the way to the ledge
  • At kill percent, shorten the stock around ledge tipper fair, up smash, and side B instead of dragging out center-stage guesses

Actions to Avoid

  • Repeatedly trying to enter with only ground dashes and eating the same forward tilt and forward smash walls
  • Forcing a punish on tip-spaced nair or other safer pokes and getting pushed back into the next arm swing
  • Landing immediately after getting in and giving up the chance to abuse Min Min’s weaker overhead defense
  • Betting everything on a center-stage hard read at kill percent while passing up the much steadier ledge and landing traps
  • Chasing too deep offstage and letting laser coverage or a defensive back air break the advantage state
